Re: An Addendum to the Review of Septic Line Construction for new Living Quarters
located at 6499 Weld County Road (WCR)36.Platteville, CO.
Dear l.am:
Per the request from the Weld County Fitsironmental Health Department CES Consultants. [,LC
(CES)is providing an addendum to our original letter dated August 27.2014 addressing the
review of the construction of the septic line for the proposed new living quarters located within
the existing hay barn at your residence at 6499 WCR 36• Platteville, Colorado. I he living
quarters are 2l'-0" 33'-0"with an upper story atticrloft area and one bedroom. The quarters
are located within the northwest corner of the existing hay barn. At the time of the site visit on
August 27, 2014, the foundation slab had been poured, the exterior and interior wails were
framed,and the septic line had been installed.
As noted in CLS'a August 2 i'" letter, to provide outfall for the wastewater flows from the
proposed living quarters, a I' PVC outfall line was installed from the east side of the new
structure and connected the existing 4" PVC located near the barn, At the August 21" site visit,
CES inspected this connection in the field and found it to be constructed per both county and
industry standards.
This letter was prepared for the exclusive use of our client and is not intended for any other
purpose. Our conclusions are based on the information made available to us at this time. Should
additional information become available,we reserve the right to determine the impact, if any, of
the new information on our opinions and conclusions; and to revise our opinions and conclusions
if necessary and warranted by the discovery of additional information.
