Dear Ms.Vegter:
It is with mixed emotions that I submit this formal letter of resignation to be effective 30 days from the
date of this letter.
I deeply appreciate the opportunity I have had to work with the Department of Human Services. It has
been a rich learning experience for me and I've had a real sense that my work truly has made a
difference. My reason for leaving is personal; that is, I will be leaving the State of Colorado and
relocating to be closer to family.
Please let me know of any pertinent paperwork or procedures to be completed. Thank you Tobi for
your assistance with everything. You are so efficient and you have been so helpful to me. Please
express my appreciation to Jocelyn Flores as well;she was always very pleasant and helpful. Please
express my thanks to the Board of Directors,caseworkers,and other staff members.
