Dear Kr, Roe:
Per our telephone conversation today, Larimer
County =equipment is very disappointed with the manner
in which the business was conducted regarding the Motor
Grader bid awarding on March 12, 1979.
Larimer County Equipment insists that we be given
the same opportunity to quote the MotorGraders with a
guaranteed buy-back at the end of a ten year period.
The guaranteed buy-back was not a part of the
formal bid specifications, and we feel that the commis-
sioners made their decision based on the guaranteed
buy-back.
There was also mention at the meeting of a ripper
being placed on one of the grader -units to be used by
the Construction Department. There was no mention of
this ripper in the specifications to be included in the
bid..
I am hopeful of a speedy reply to this letter, as
I feel the bid awarding was onducted properly.
