RE: APPOINTMENT OF ART PARKER TO WELD COUNTY FAIR BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Elmer Schmidt has resigned as a member of the Weld
County Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Art Parker be appointed
to the Weld County Fair Board for the unexpired term of Elmer
Schmidt, said term to expire October 31, 1982 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that Art Parker be, and hereby
is, appointed to the Weld County Fair Board for the unexpired
term of Elmer Schmidt, said term to expire October 31, 1982 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
December, A.D. , 1979.

Subject: Replacement of Fair Board Appointee
Enclosed is a resignation letter from newly appointed, Elmer
Schmidt of LaSalle. His term was for three (3) years to expire on
October 31 , 1982.
We suggest replacement with Art Parker of Greeley, who was the
eighth person on the list of recommendations that was submitted in
my earlier letter of October 25, 1979.
