Dear Glenn,
Enclosed is a copy of a suggested acknowledgement form for oversized
structures to be moved over county roads.
Moves of large structures have in the past given little or no advance notice
of moves and this has created interruptions of service for many residents to say
nothing of a possible loss of life to some unsuspecting person trying to move wires
over a structure.
We should require that all utility companies acknowledge this enclosed form
with a signature of supervisory personnel. We should also require signatures of
our bridge personnel and road supervisors prior to the issuance of any permit if
for no other reason than for information purposes. Our recent encounter with
Casey House Moving illustrates this quite well.
I am also forwarding a copy of this letter and the enclosed acknowledgement
form to Mr. Telep for his consideration and review.
Sincerely,

Re: Special Transport-Per it
Dear Richard:
aN !
The purpose of this letter Lk o firm telephone conversation
et
had previously concerning the_form ofAhe Special Transport Permit,
and I find as follows:
1. That the p rmit may, s uld you desire, be issued without
any changes.
2. C would-suggest eith p' o add to paragraph numbered 4, or
to add-paragraph numbered 8, a provision which would allow
yoorj'office to require a bond where one would be reasonably
rehired to cover the cost of anticipated repairs.
I wo'gld appreCtate your sending several copies of the Special
Transport Permit-which you do adopt, so that we may have it in our file.
Also, a resolution has been prepared authorizing your office to issue the
Special Transport Permits instead of the Clerk's Office, which is author-
ized to do so now. I presume that a copy of the same will be forwarded
to you upon the approval of the Board of County Commissioners.
Sincerely yours,
Joseph H. Hellewell

This letter is in answer to the letter dated February 4 ,

move made presumably without the proper permit .
Due to the many conflicting statements and reports received,
this office would recommend that legal counsel proceed to

Re: Siros Bros Well
Sec . 31, T2N-61W
Dear Mr. Olson:
On December 30, 1975, we purchased a permit
to move on this well; on 1/21/76 we purchased a permit to
move from this well to the Klausner #2 which is approximately
10 miles southwest of Prospect . However, due to some drill- '
ing problems , we were unable to move until February 3 , 1976.
It is my understanding if you buy a permit to move on and
a permit to move off, that this is all you need.
