RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING PETITIONS FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND
OF TAXES - NOBLE ENERGY, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a
duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 9th day of March, 2015, at which meeting
there were present the following members: Chair Barbara Kirkmeyer, and Commissioners Mike
Freeman, Sean P. Conway, Julie A. Cozad, and Steve Moreno, and
WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to
the taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, with said Assessor, Christopher Woodruff, being
present, and taxpayer, Noble Energy, Inc., being represented by attorney Kirk Mueller, Davis,
Graham and Stubbs, LLP, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having carefully considered the
petitions, deemed it advisable to continue the matter to Monday, March 16, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., to
allow the County Attorney adequate time to research the question of jurisdiction in considering the
matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that consideration of the petitions for abatement or refund of taxes for years
2012 and 2013, from Noble Energy, Inc., be and hereby is, continued to Monday, March 16, 2015,
at 9:00 a.m.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of March, A.D., 2015.
