RE: DECLARATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY WELD COUNTY AS
SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY - DAVIS RANCH.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado currently owns property
which is more particularly described as follows :
Davis Ranch located in Sections 1, 2, 11,
12, Township 5, Range 65 West of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado as outlined
in the attached map prepared by the County
Engineer.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the property, as herein-
above described, is no longer needed for governmental purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the property as herein-
above described be, and hereby is, declared to be surplus property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Purchasing
Director is hereby directed to obtain a survey of the hereinabove
described property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Purchasing
Director is hereby directed to publish a public notice advertising
the sale of the hereinabove described property once the survey is
complete.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Purchasing Agent
is hereby directed to obtain an appraisal of the hereinabove
described property prior to the opening of the above bid for the
sale of the hereinabove described property.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of
July, A.D. , 1979.
