RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 59 - RAUL GILL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, at a public meeting held
on the 27th day of June, 1973 in the Chambers of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that a certain
parcel of land, being the property of Raul Gill , does not come
within the purview of the definition of the terms, "subdivision"
and "subdivided land, " pursuant to its authority under Section
30-28-101 (10) (d) , CRS 1973, as amended, and
WHEREAS, said Board of County Commissioners did approve
Recorded Exemption No. 59 , by Resolution, on June 27 , 1973 ,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has been informed by the Weld county Department of
Planning Services, that the aforementioned Recorded Exemption
now needs to be amended by reducing the size of Lot 2 by adding
13 . 879 acres to Lot 1 . The resulting lots will be 10 .00 acres
and 14 . 879 acres in size, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado deems it advisable and in the best interests of Weld
County to approve said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the hereinabove amend-
ment to Recorded Exemption No. 59 for Raul Gill be, and hereby
is, approved.

RE: Amendment to Recorded Exemption #59
Dear Commissioners:
The attached application, plat and related items are in reference to a
request to amend Recorded Exemption #59 from Mr. Raul Gill . The pro-
perty is described as Pt . EASE* Section 32 , T1N, R66W of the 6th P.M. ,
Weld County, Colorado. This property is located approximately 1 mile
east of Brighton and 1/2 mile north of County Road 2.
The request is to amend Recorded Exemption #59 by reducing the size
of Lot 2 by adding 13. 879 acres to Lot 1 . The resulting lots will be
10. 00 acres and 14. 879 acres in size. Lot 1 does have an existing
residence located on it .
Based upon the information submitted, the Department of Planning Serv-
ices Staff recommends approval of this requested amendment for the
following reasons :
1. The impact on surrounding agricultural land uses would not appear
to be any different than the original request which has already
been approved.
2. This request is in compliance with Section 9-4 A. of the Weld
unty Subdivision Regulations.

exemption is presently divided into Lot 1 of 1 acre and
Lot 2 of 24.879 acres,
Mr. Gill desires to amend the division of the property
by the enclosed deeds , which copies I am sending you, and
which were recorded April 28, 1975.
In accordance with our conversation, you agreed to
prepare a letter for Mr. Gill to present to the Building
Department permitting him to obtain a building permit on
the property described as the North part of Lot 2 of the
Recorded Exemption and which was recorded under reception
number 1659045.
Please send this letter permitting the building permit
to be obtained to this office so that I can send it to Mr.

Dear Mr. Cunliffe:
We have reviewed the above referenced application for exemption.
We feel that a permit for a well could be issued on each of the two lots;
however, the permits may be restricted to household use only due to the
area being considered critical for the Laramie-Fox Hills aquifer. Since
permits could be issued, we recommend approval of the Gill Exemption.
