Dear Sheriff Bower:
As you know, the Board of County Commissioners is
vested with the issuing and renewing of all beer and
liquor licenses outside the limits of incorporated towns
in Weld County. It has come to our attention that per-
haps your office could assist in this area of decision
making.
In order that the Board has better knowledge of
the beer and liquor outlets requesting license renewals ,
we would like for you to report to us any disturbances
or violations which your office investigates . These
reports would be added to the license file and considered
at renewal time. Hopefully, this would alleviate some
unnecessary calls for you, as well as giving important
background to the Board.
Please contact me and express your thoughts in this
matter. It is essential that this coordination begin as
soon as possible.
