Subject: Change Order#1 for Southwest Office Remodel—Choice Builders
The minor remodel for offices at the Southwest Building has incurred an owner directed change to
increase an office size in order to create a conference room. The original project was bid as an informal
bid and assigned a purchase order of P1500633. The change order for the scope of work is for$8,275.00
Buildings and Grounds is recommending approval of this change order.

Description of Change Order:
Labor and material to enlarge one of the new offices. Our price includes:
1. Remove front wall,door and frame from new South East office
2. Build approximately 20' of wall to create larger office
3. Sound insulation
4. 5/8 drywall (hang and finish)
5. Painting
6. Suspended ceiling work
7. Rubber base
8. Add one sprinkler head (performed by flow fire protection)
9. Re use 3'x7' hollow metal frame with side light and door
10.HVAC: (performed by M.D. Heating& Air Inc.)
11.Electrical: relocate electrical in wall being removed into new exterior wall
(performed by Spring Creek Electric Inc.)
Exclusions: Floor covering
All work in change order to be preformed and completed in a substantial
work like manner for the sum of Eight Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Five
Dollars(58,27.5.00). Payment will be made at completion of change order.
Any alteration or deviation from specifications involving cost will become an
extra charge over and above the estimate. Owner to carry fire and other necessary
insurances on above work. Liability insurance on above work to be taken out by
Choice Builders Inc.
