RE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM IN CENTENNIAL
COMPLEX AND COURTHOUSE.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County , Colorado , and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of March, 1979, the Board of County
Commissioners authorized the issuance of a Request for Proposal
for a new communications system to serve the Centennial Complex
and Courthouse , and
WHEREAS, the County is in receipt of Request for Proposals
from Mountain Bell Communication Systems and United Business Sys-
tems , and
WHEREAS, the Director of Communications has recommended to
the Board members to be appointed to a committee for the communi-
cation system RFP evaluation on June 8 , 1979 at 9 :00 a.m. ,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board acknowledges the
receipt of the Requests for Proposals for a communication system
from Mountain Bell and United Business Systems in accordance with
the Request for Proposal issued by the County, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby appoints the
following individuals to a committee for the purpose of evaluating
the above proposals on June 8, 1979 at 9 : 00 a.m. :
June Steinmark, Commissioner
Don Warden, Finance Director
Mary Connell , Court Administrator ,
19th Judicial District
Bruce Forbes, Chief , Greeley Fire Department
Bud Reynolds , Communications Director
Ward Carpenter , Communications Assistant Director
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the evaluation committee is hereby
directed to present their recommendation on the selection of a new
communications system to the Board of County Commissioners on June
20, 1979 , for the Board' s consideration. -1
