RE: GRANTING APPROVAL TO THE KERSEY FIRE DEPARTMENT, COLORADO
FOR A FIRE WORKS DISPLAY ON JULY 10 , 1977.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Section 12-28-103, CRS 1973, as amended, permits
Weld County to grant permits for public displays of fire works
by municipalities, and
WHEREAS , the Kersey Fire Department, Colorado has applied for
a fire works display permit for July 10, 1977 , which display
shall take place on the football field of Platte Valley High
School, east of Kersey, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desire to grant said application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Kersey Fire Depart-
ment be, and hereby is , granted a fire works display permit for
July 10, 1977, which display shall be held at the football field
of Platte Valley High School, located east of Kersey, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
April , A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 27th day of April, A.D. , 1977.

1. Copy of Colorado Statutes regarding permits for
displays of fireworks and
2. Application form.
If you still wish to make application please submit the completed
application form, the $5.00 license fee and a performance bond in a sum
not less than $1000.00.
