MEMORANDUM
TO: Weld County BOCC June 1st 2015
at:8' FROM: Ryan Rose. Chief Information Officer
SUBJECT: Colorado Government Association of Information Technology
Excellence in Service Award
The Colorado Government Association of Information Technology is a group of 397 public sector
technologists representing cities and counties from all over Colorado. Once a year proposals
are submitted and reviewed in three categories for the "CGAIT Awards of Excellence.' which
recognize the annual achievements of member agencies in areas where their innovative
application of new service delivery techniques and/or leading edge computing and
communications technologies has led to outstanding results. This year Weld County IT was
awarded the CGAIT Excellence in Service Award for our efforts in "Enhancing public-facing
communications and services" for our website redesign and the property portal upgrade.
As with almost everything in life, it takes a team to be successful. This project is no different as it
took numerous IT team members, design input from several offices and departments, and the
support of the Board of County Commissioners to come to fruition. This is truly a Team Weld
award and is a microcosm of the positive changes taking place with technology here in Weld
County.
It is with great pride that I present on behalf of the IT Department the 2015 CGAIT Excellence in
Service Award to the Weld County BOCC.
