WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States of America has designated the week of h,
May 10 through May 16, 2015, to be dedicated as National" Police Week" and Friday, May 15, }{
2015, as"National Peace Officers Memorial Day,"and

exercised, who work tirelessly in the fight against crime and other wrongs to society, and

WHEREAS, it is known that in 2014, every 69 hours, an American Law Enforcement officer ,at
c11Aas)Y ` died in the line of duty somewhere in this great country, and during this last year, 127 brave .
men and women have lost their lives in the performance of their duties, one (1) of whom was eco)>

WHEREAS, it is known that the citizens of Weld County has lost seven Officers, Troopers, and
