The County Administrative Code in the Buildings and Facilities Section, Pg. 2, 5. K. states: "Employees who park in the restricted parking areas around the complex and take County time to move their cars every two hours or as demanded by the parking restrictions , will be subject to disciplinary action by the department head. " For those employees who are not assigned parking spaces in the Complex parking lot, there is parking available in the County parking lot at 8th St. and 8th Avenue. Please notify your employees that they may contact the Finance Office to receive a parking card, free of charge, for entry into that parking lot. We must ask the Department Heads' cooperation in seeing that our employees do not occupy spaces in front of area businesses, given the shortage of downtown parking and the availability of other parking reserved for County employees. Should the Board receive further notice of the problem continuing, we will try to determine the identities of those employees involved and notify individual Department Heads. Thank you for your help in this matter. clb 780873 Hello
