TO ALL INTERESTED VOTERS:
The Weld County Home Rule Charter Commission will conduct a
Public Hearing on the proposed Charter at
starting at 7:30 P.M., May , 1975.
Please try to attend this important, informational Public
Hearing.

PRESS RELEASE
Weld County's Home Rule Charter Commission will conduct public hearings on
its Charter proposal throughout the county in each school district. These
hearings will provide the public with an opportunity to learn about County
Home Rule and the contents of the Weld Charter. The Charter Commission
solicits public participation at these hearings. When completed, the
Commission will make any necessary revisions to the Charter and submit the
proposal to the County Commissioners on June 11, 1975, and the Commissioners
will set a date for a special election between July 26, 1975 and September
19, 1975.
We solicit your assistance in the dissemination of this information to the
public and enclose a complete list of all public hearings to be held.
