RE: APPROVAL TO PURCHASE USED 1978 FERGUSON MODEL SP-1130 FOR
WELD COUNTY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board. of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desires to purchase a used 1978 Ferguson Model SP-1130
from MacDonald Equipment Company, Commerce City, Colorado. Said
piece of equipment is to be used for the Weld County Engineering
Department, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been informed
that due to the fact that said piece of equipment is a piece of
used equipment, it is not necessary to go out for bids or quotes ,
and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Finance Officer and the Weld County
Engineer have recommended the purchase of said used 1978 Ferguson
Model SP-1130, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interests of Weld County to purchase said piece of
equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the purchase of the used
1978 Ferguson Model SP-1130 from MacDonald Equipment Company for
the use of the Weld County Engineering Department be, and hereby is ,
approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
March, A.D. , 1979.

Reconfirming our phone conversation of this forenoon regarding
warranty and right of refusal on our quote on a used si11)0 Ferguson
holler.
This is to advise that we will grant you this right of refusal on
inspection of the unit, but we want the right to correct any inefficiencies
or things you might find wrong.
Also we will extend the warranty on the engine in this roller to
1500 hours or y months, whichever occurs first.
