If you have a difference in opinion of what the ownership typically we need the documentation to show the attorney was incorrect. However, Weld County attained the minerals in the lands per the executors deed reception number 1622986. Included in the original email I sent you dtd 2/24/16 with the title opinion pages listed you will see that Weld County has ownership in Tracts 6, 8 & 9 which include the lands in the legal of the executors deed reception number 1622986. Due to changes of title since the time the executors deed reception number 1622986 was recorded Weld County's ownership of minerals has reduced to 50% in the Tracts 6, 8 & 9. Since COGIS Production information only goes back to 1999, production data prior to that point is quite unreliable. I found on Drillinglnfo (a pay -for -use site) that the CLC GU 1 well (API 05-123-08230) consistently produced between 1975 and 2014. It is currently shut in, but we have many other wells that hold the lease. Attached are the production history graphs for this well. Note that the time period of 1994 to 1998 looks like non production, but this period of time is covered by a separate graph. The Eastman Jack W GU 1 well (API 05-123-09911) has a date of first production in COGIS of 9/13/1980, but Drillinglnfo does not have that well's production history prior to 1999. In addition to the production history, we have the attached Affidavit of Production & Extension that was executed and recorded in 2001 by HS Resources. In the older lease records, affidavits of production were not always filed in a timely fashion, and it looks like HS Resources was doing some cleanup when they filed this.
