RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR15-0074, FOR A KENNEL(DOG AND CAT RESCUE FACILITY WITH A MAXIMUM
OF 50 CATS/DOGS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - EDIE AND
STEVEN MESSICK
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 17th day of
February, 2016, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Edie and Steven Messick, 7731 CR 100, Wellington, CO 80549, for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR15-0074, for a Kennel (dog
and cat rescue facility with a maximum of 50 cats/dogs) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the
following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot A of Recorded Exemption, RE-3384; being part
of the W1/2 SE1/4 of Section 29, Township 9 North,
Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board deemed it advisable to continue the matter to March 2, 2016, to
allow for consideration by the Planning Commission at a hearing which was continued to
February 23, 2016, as a result of a County closure due to inclement weather.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to March 2, 2016,
at 10:00 a.m.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
