RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF VALERIE DAY TO THE FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Valerie Day be appointed to the Fair Board
filling the vacancy left by Rhonda Patterson-Eachus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Valerie Day be, and hereby is, appointed to the Fair Board, with a term to
expire September 30, 2016.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of March, A.D., 2016.
