SUBJECT: Consent Agenda Item
Acceptance of a Contract Extension for surveying services related to CR 49 Corridor project approved by
BOCC October 21, 2015 at Docket Number 2015-3395.
The original scope of services related to the Agreement for Professional Services dated October 21, 2015 needs
to be extended to allow adequate time for King Surveyors to set property pins after closing. The time
extension is necessary as the remaining parcels are still in litigation. Details of the scope of services and fee
breakdowns remain the same. This change order is for a continuation of time and not cost.

CONTRACT AGREEMENT EXTENSION/RENEWAL BETWEEN
THE WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
AND KING SURVEYORS, INC.
This Agreement Extension/Renewal ("Renewal"), made and entered into 19 day of OCTOBER, 2016, by and between the
Board of Weld County Commissioners, on behalf of the Weld County Department of Public Works, hereinafter referred to as the
"Department", and King Surveyors, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor".
WHEREAS the parties entered into an agreement (the "Original Agreement") identified by the Weld County Clerk to the
Board of County Commissioners as document No. 2015-3395, approved on October 21, 2015.
WHEREAS the parties hereby agree to extend the term of the Original Agreement in accordance with the terms of the
Original Agreement, which is incorporated by reference herein, as well as the terms provided herein.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the parties hereto covenant and agree as follows:
• The Original Agreement will end on October 21, 2016.
• The parties agree to extend the Original Agreement for an additional 12 Month period, which will begin October 21, 2016,
and will end on October 21, 2017.
• The Renewal, together with the Original Agreement, constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. The
following change is hereby made to the Contract Documents:
1. Extend contract date 12 months to allow King Surveyors, Inc. adequate time to set property pins after closing.
2. N/A
• All other terms and conditions of the Original Agreement remain unchanged.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly executed the Agreement as of the day, month, and year first above written.
