Dear Commissioners:
Thank you for your co-operation in the matter of the surplus county
equipment. The police department and the town are grateful for your
time and effort on this matter.
We would like to request at this time the three steel desks and the air
conditioner as our first priority items. It appears to me that we are
the only one of the three entities requesting who does not already have
an air conditioned area. As far as the desks, this is of course the
item which originated our interest in the articles. We are currently
opening our new Police Station and the desks are needed to make the
space fully usable.
As a somewhat lower priority, but still important to our function
is at least one metal working table,two filing card holders, one
secretary chair and the steel sink. If there is no conflict with
another applicant, I would also like to be considered for one of the
kitchen units.
