RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Shelly Rios be appointed to said board as a
small business representative, to replace Dennis Trego,with a term to expire December 31, 2018;
and Susan Ditson be appointed to said board as a small business representative to replace
Tammy Fisher, with a term to expire December 31, 2016; and Ashley Vanlenzuela-Ruesgen be
appointed to said board as the Institution of Higher Education representative, to replace Brenda
Rask, with a term to expire December 31, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Workforce Development Board, with their respective terms to expire as described above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of February, A.D., 2016.
