The Public Works Department recommends the low bid from Varra Companies be accepted for fill sand at a
price of$4.00 per ton.
If Varra Companies is unable to provide the required amount of fill sand needed,we would need to purchase
the fill sand from J-2 Contracting at a price of$4.75 per ton so that our projects are not adversely affected.
