HomeMy WebLinkAbout20161330.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACKNOWLEDGE ADJUSTMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2003- 1882) FOR PARCEL#0803-32-3-02-002 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to ' Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2003-1882) for parcel #0803-32-3-02-002, from the Weld County Treasurer, and WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Memorandum, marked Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the tax adjustment of TS CERT 2003-1882, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to acknowledge the adjustment of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2003-1882) for the property described above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that adjustment of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2003-1882), on parcel #0803-32-3-02-002, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, acknowledged. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of April, A.D., 2016. According to the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on NOVEMBER 4,2003 due to unpaid property taxes 2002 . Reason for this request is as follows: The planning department of Weld County ordered this mobile home to be destroyed and removed from the property. Mr.Fred Martinez destroyed this home but was not told by the planning department and was not aware he needed to apply for a destroy permit from the treasurer's office. Mr.Fred Martinez has agreed to pay back taxes that were owed on this mobile home prior to the destruction of the home, in the amount of$622.22.The assessor's office has now deleted this mobile home from the tax roll. The 2010 thru 2014 taxes were erroneously assessed on this mobile home that had been destroyed.
