SUBJECT: Crack Seal Machine, B1600019
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the third lowest bidder, Denver Industrial Sales
and Service, for one Crack Seal Machine. Municipal & Contractors Equipment was the low bidder and did not
meet specs for overall length, hitch size, hose length, and hydraulic oil capacity. Sealmaster was the second
low bidder and did not meet specs for heat transfer oil tank size. Denver Industrial Sales and Service meets all
bid specifications.
The cost of one Crack Seal Machine from Denver Industrial Sales and Service is $43,917.00.
There is $52,000 budgeted for this purchase.
