SUBJECT: Articulating Wheel Loader, B1600008
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the second low bidder, 4 Rivers Equipment,
for one Articulating Wheel Loader. Power Equipment was the lowest bidder but they did not meet
specifications for bucket hinge pin height. Purchasing the Articulating Wheel Loader from 4 Rivers Equipment,
is in the best interest of the Public Works Department.
The cost of one Articulating Wheel Loader from 4 Rivers Equipment is $217,250.00.
There is $200,000 budgeted for this purchase.
