RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO NOXIOUS WEED
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ralph Anders be appointed to said board as,
to replace Kristine Meiring, and that Joseph Hatch, and Jean Mark, be reappointed to said board,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Ralph Anders to said board, with a
term retroactively effective August 18, 2014, through August 19, 2015, and reappoint him to the
same position with a term to expire August 19, 2018; and to reappoint Joseph Hatch, with a term
to expire August 19, 2017, and reappoint Jean Mark with a term to expire August 19, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and reappointed
to the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board, with their respective terms to expire on
August 19, 2017, and August 19, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of February, A.D., 2016.
