RE: APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION FOR AMOCO PRODUCTION

WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
c Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
ca
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, has reviewed the request of Amoco Production Company,
=y Security Life Building, Denver, Colorado, 80202 for an exemption
for the definition of "subdivision" and "subdivided land" in
Section 30-28-101 (10) , CRS 1973, as amended, and Section 2-1 of
the Weld County Subdivision Regulations, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that Amoco
Production Company is the lessor of a parcel of land in Section
34, Township 2 North, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian,
Weld County, Colorado. Amoco Production Company desires to add
10 . 30 acres, more or less, (as shown on Exhibit "A" , attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference) to their exist-
ing spindle plant for a recently amended Special Use Permit. The
legal description for the existing spindle plant is also shown on
Exhibit "A" , attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has considered
the recommendations of the Department of Planning Services on this
matter and has reviewed information submitted by the applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned tract
of land leased by the applicant, be and hereby is, declared to be
exempt from the definition of "subdivision" and "subdivided land"
as set forth in Section 30-29-101 (10) , CRS 1973, as amended, and
in Section 2-1 of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded; adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
June, A.D. , 1978.

Tracts of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section
34, Township 2 North, Range 67 West of the 6th Principle
Meridian, Weld County, Colorado, being more particularly
described as follows:
EXISTING SPINDLE PLANT:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Section 34, thence
660 ' East; thence North 990 ' ; thence West 660 ' ; thence
South 990 ' to the point of beginning containing 15 .00 acres
more or less.
TRACT A:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 34 and
considering the South line of said Section 34 to bear North
90°00 ' 00" East and all bearings contained herein relative
thereto, thence North 00°12 ' 30" West 990. 40 ' along the West
line of Section 34 to the True Point of Beginning, thence
North 90 °00 ' 00" East 660. 40' , thence North 00°12' 30" West
330. 00 ' , thence North 90°00 ' 00" West 660. 50 ' to a point on
the West line of said Section 34 , thence South 00°12 ' 30"
East 330. 00 ' to the True Point of Beginning. Said tract
of land contains 5. 00 acres more or less.

Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 34 and
considering the South line of said Section 34 to bear North
90°00 ' 00" East and all bearings contained herein relative
thereto, thence North 90°00 ' 00" East 660.50 ' along the South
line of said Section 34 to the True Point of Beginning.
Thence continuing North 90°00' 00" East 295. 00 ' , thence North
