RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 345 - LEO BISSELL. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, at a public hearing held on the 23rd day of October, 1978 in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the division into two parcels of a certain parcel of land, as shown on the plat known as Recorded Exemption number 345, being the property of Leo Bissell, described as part of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 16 , Township 1 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows: That part of the North one-half Northwest one-quarter, Section 16, Township 1 North, Range 66 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado, described as: Beginning at the Northwest corner said North one-half Northwest one-quarter; thence South 00°24'09" West on an assumed hearing along the West line said North one- half Northwest one-quarter a distance of 1129.69 feet; thence South 89°35'51 East a distance of 98.36 feet to a point on the centerline of the Fulton Ditch; thence along said centerline the following courses and dis- tances: North 22°03'16" East a distance of 112.06 feet; Thence North 52°42'18" East a distance of 307.98 feet; Thence North 42°04'50" East a distance of 146.42 feet to a point; Thence North 01°36'34" Fast a distance of 731.49 feet to a point on the North line said North one-half North- west one-quarter; Thence South 90°00'00" West along said North line 496.18 feet to the point of beginning. As I grew older I was unable to keep up with the work of the farm so in 1972 we sold all except the present ten and three-fourths acres of land. With the exception of one home, all this acreage is still in production. A week ago friends who live in Fort Lupton asked if we would consider selling our property. They have two young sons and want to purchase an acreage so they can raise their boys in the country having then assume more responsibilities such as helping irrigate and raising livestock. The father is a teacher at the Tort Lupton High School. We had previously decided that within a few years we would not want the extra work of our present size acreage but we would only sell if we could build and continue to live here on this farm which is our first and only land ownership. My wife and I have lived on farms practically all our lives and we do not wish to move into town unless forced to do so. We are asking permission to divide this small parcel of land from our present acreage in order to build a home with a small lawn and garden spot.
