RE: APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE WELD COUNTY FAIR BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Fair Board shall consist of
twenty-one (21) members as provided by law and seven (7) vacancies
now exist on said Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the following people
be appointed to serve as members of the Weld County Fair Board:
1. Art Anderson, Greeley
2. Barbara Schneider, Severence
3. Dave Gustafson, Eaton
4 . Bill Frank, Hudson
5 . Carl Barnett, Greeley
6. Elmer Schmidt, LaSalle
7. Randy Knutson, Greeley
WHEREAS, the terms of office shall be for 3 years to expire
on October 31, 1982 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the abovementioned
people be, and hereby are, appointed to serve on the Weld County
Fair Board for three-year terms to expire October 31, 1982 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of
October, A.D. , 1979 .

FROM: Elmer E. Rothman, Extension Agent
SUBJECT: Fair Board Appointments
A nomination committee of the Fair Board, consisting of Don Norgren,
Dave Gustafson, and Charles Ledall , has presented ten (10) candidates
for the Fair Board members to vote upon. As a result of the poll the
candidates are listed according to the results of the popular ballot.
The results are submitted to you for use in making the Commissioner
appointments.
The appointments necessary are seven (7) for terms of three (3) years
to expire on October 31 , 1982.
We would appreciate having you act on these names at one of your
earliest meetings so we can proceed with the schedule for the annual
meeting of the Fair Board on Monday, November 5th.
The seven appointments need to be included among those who will attend
the annual meeting.
