HomeMy WebLinkAbout20160658.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN VEHICLE AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AUTHORIZE DISPOSITION OF SAME TO COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORATION,AND DELEGATE AUTHORITY TO CONTROLLER TO SIGN ANY DOCUMENTS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and Section 5-4-170 of the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the County has determined the 2007 Mobile Blood Alcohol Testing Unit is no longer being used for its intended purpose and must be returned to the Colorado Department of Transportation for placement with another agency, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a disposition form to return the 2007 Mobile Blood Alcohol Testing Unit to the Colorado Department of Transportation, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said vehicle as surplus and authorize said disposition, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned vehicle be, and hereby is, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the disposition of said vehicle to the Colorado Department of Transportation, be and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the authority to sign any necessary transfer documents, be, and hereby is, delegated to the Weld County Controller to sign as the Agent for the Weld County Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado. 2016-0658 PO0021 DECLARE CERTAIN VEHICLE AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AUTHORIZE DISPOSTITION OF SAME TO THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
