RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2010-
10542) FOR PARCEL#1313-13-3-03-025
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2010-
10542) for parcel #1313-13-3-03-025, from the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation
of TS CERT 2010-10542, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the cancellation of the
Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2010-10542) for the property described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2010-10542), on
parcel #1313-13-3-03-025, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of January, A.D., 2016.

As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I request authorization by resolution to cancel the Tax Lien Sale
Certificate number 2010-10542 .,pursuant to CRS I"39-10-I 14".)
According to the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on NOVEMBER 1,2010 due to
unpaid property taxes and Special Assessment for the tax year of 2009 .
Reason for this request is as follows: An erroneous Tax Assessment was placed on this property
back in 2009 and continued thru 2015. The Weld County Assessor's Office over looked the
dedication on the Nat Map conveying ownership of Outlot I to the Johnson Farm Owners
Association. On 1/21/2016 the ownership was corrected and changed to the Johnson Farm Owners
Association by the Weld County Assessor's Office.
