RE: APPROVE POLE PERMIT APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -
PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF COLORADO, DBA XCEL ENERGY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Pole Permit Application between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Department of Information Technology, and Public Service Company, of
Colorado, dba Xcel Energy, commencing upon full execution of signatures, and with terms and
conditions being as stated in said application, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said application, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Pole Permit Application between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Department of Information Technology, and Public Service Company of Colorado, dba Xcel
Energy, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said application.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of February, A.D., 2016.

Subject: Xcel Energy Pole Permit Application
The Xcel Energy Pole Permit Application has been reviewed by Weld County legal and
we are requesting the BOCC approve and sign. This agreement is for the use of the Xcel
Energy poles for the fiber-optic cable to the Chase Building. .
We respectfully request the Weld County BOCC approve the application with Xcel
Energy.
