A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - CLYDE AND JANICE HEMBERGER, C/O
STERLING ENERGY INVESTMENTS, LLC
A public hearing was conducted on February 10, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Mike Freeman, Chair
Commissioner Sean P. Conway, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Julie A. Cozad
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Commissioner Steve Moreno
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tisa Juanicorena
Assistant County Attorney, Bob Choate
Planning Services Department representative, Kim Ogle
The following business was transacted:
• I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated December 31, 2015, and duly published
January 5, 2016, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request
of Clyde and Janice Hemberger, 2490 North CR 3, Loveland, CO 80538, c/o Sterling Energy
Investments, LLC, 1200 17th Street, Suite 2850, Denver, CO 80202, for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR15-0070, for Mineral Resource
Development Facilities, including Oil and Gas Support and Service (six (6) compressors) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bob Choate, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of
record.
• Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, entered the applicant's request that the matter
be continued to March 23, 2016, to allow the applicant time to complete the state mandated
30-day mineral notification.
▪ No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
• Commissioner Cozad moved to continue the request of Clyde and Janice Hemberger, c/o
Sterling Energy Investments, LLC, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special
Review Permit, USR15-0070, for Mineral Resource Development Facilities, including Oil and Gas
Support and Service (six (6) compressors) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to March 23, 2016,
at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Conway, and it carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:10 a.m.
