RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO THE FAMILIES, YOUTH AND CHILDREN
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Families, Youth and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended, and the Board deems it advisable, to appoint
Shannon O'Keefe to said commission as the Attorney representative replacing Kregg Wallace,
with a term to expire December 31, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Shannon O'Keefe be, and hereby is, appointed to the Families, Youth, and
Children Commission.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of June, A.D., 2016.
