AMERICA'S TOP 50 BEST HOSPITALS FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

WHEREAS, North Colorado Medical Center was named as one of the top 50 Best
Hospitals in March,2016,and _ �,
WHEREAS, North Colorado Medical Center is located in Weld County and is one of only I`
two hospitals in the state of Colorado and the only hospital in the Northern Colorado Front .:`.
Range area to receive this designation,and
I WHEREAS, North Colorado Medical Center also received recognition as a Distinguished
Hospital for Clinical Excellence 2016 as determined by HealthGrades, based upon its f .
performance in specialty categories including Pulmonary Care Excellence, Stroke Care - ,'
Excellence,and Critical Care Excellence,and
WHEREAS, HealthGrades bases its evaluation on objective measures of clinical quality \ :
across nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Recognition as one of America's 50 Best
Hospitals follows five consecutive years as a recipient of America's 100 Best Hospitals 4,',
Award, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners would like to congratulate the health care F
team at North Colorado Medical Center on what they have accomplished for themselves
and for the patients of Northern Colorado,and for consistently year after year being named
