Services Block Grant (CSBG) Budget Submission
Please review and indicate if you would like a work session prior to submitting this budget.
Request Board Approval of the Department's Community Services Block Grant(CSBG)
Budget Submission. The Department was recently notified by the Department of Local Affairs
(DOLA)that we received an increase of$13,903 in our grant for the current year 1/1/2016-
12/31/2016, after final grant totals were calculated. The budget was originally developed using
the estimated amount received from DOLA and based on the previous year's allocation and
fund availability at the time of execution. With this increase, $2,000 will be allocated to staff
trainings and/or conferences and $11,903 will be added to the emergency assistance allocation.
We have attached the updated budget for review and approval.
I do not recommend a Work Session. I recommend approval of this Budget submission.
