RE : RELEASE OF SURETY BOND OF GREELEY GAS COMPANY, DENVER,
COLORADO, FOR UNDERGROUND AND UTILITY PERMIT NO. 1440 .
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineers recommended the release
of a Forty Thousand Dollar ($40 , 000 .00) surety bond, payable
to the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
which bond was submitted by the applicant, Greeley Gas Company
of Denver, Colorado, which bond was originally issued in connec-
tion with Underground and Utility Permit No. 1440 , which was
originally issued to Greeley Gas Company, Denver, Colorado, on
August 28, 1975, to install eight (8) miles of six inch natural
gas line in Weld County right-of-way along Roads No. 64 , 41 and
74. Said gas line was installed between Sections 29 and 32 in
Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P .M. along County
Road No. 64 ; along County Road No. 41 along the East side of
Sections 5 , 8, 17, 20 and 29 in Township 6 North, Range 65 West
of the 6th P.M. ; along County Road No. 74 along the North Side
of Sections 5 and 6 in Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the
6th P.M. , and through a portion of Section 31 in Township 7
North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. all in Weld County,
Colorado. Completion date of this project was December 1,
1975 , and, inasmuch as several inspections were made during
construction and during the year, which indicates that there is
no damage to the Weld County right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that it does hereby
direct the County Clerk to release said bond now being held by
the County of Weld in the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars
($40, 000.00) for and on behalf of Greeley Gas Company of
Denver, Colorado.

Know all men by these Presents, That the HARTFORD ACCIDENT AND INDEMNITY
COMPANY, a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of Connecticut, and having its principal office
in the City of Hartford, County of Hartford, State of Connecticut, does hereby make, constitute and appoint
DONALD G. STEFFES, JAMES S. ROSULEK, ELSIE M. FOWLER, and E. KAY KELLY,
of DENVER, COLORADO
its true and lawful Attorney(s)-in-fact, with full power and authority to each of said Attorney(s)-in-fact, in their separate
capacity if more than one is named above, to sign, execute and acknowledge any and all bonds and undertakings and
other writings obligatory in the nature thereof on behalf of the company in its business of guaranteeing the fidelity of
parsons-holding places of public or private trust; guaranteeing the performance of contracts other than insurance policies;
guaranteeing the performance of insurance contracts where surety bonds are accepted by states and municipalities, and

and hereby ratifies and confirms all that its said Attorney(s)-in-fact may do in pursuance hereof.
This power of attorney is granted under and by authority of the following By-Law adopted by the Stockholders
of the HARTFORD ACCIDENT AND INDEMNITY COMPANY at a meeting duly called and held on the 10th day
of February, 1943.
ARTICLE IV
SECTION 8- The President or any Vice-President, acting with any Secretary or Assistant Secretary, shall have power and authority to
appoint, for purposes only of executing and attesting bonds and undertakings and other writings obligatory in the nature thereof, one or more
Resident Vice-I'residents, Resident Assistant Secretaries and Attorneys-in-fact and at any time to remove any such Resident Vice-President,
Resident Assistant Secretary, or Attorney-in-fact, and revoke the power and authority given to hint.
SECTION 11. Attorneys-in-fact shall have power and authority, subject to the terms and limitations of the power of attorney issued to
them, to execute and deliver on behalf of the Company and to attach the seal of the Company thereto ally and all bonds and undertakings,
and other writings obligatory in the nature thereof,and any such instrument executed by any such Attorney-in-fact shall be as binding upon the
Company as if signed by an Executive Officer and sealed and attested by one other of such Officers.
This power of attorney is signed and sealed by facsimile under and by the authority of the following Resolution
adopted by the Directors of the HARTFORD ACCIDENT AND INDEMNITY COMPANY at a meeting duly called
and held on the 13th day of March, 1956.
RESOLVED,that,whereas the President or any Vice-President,acting with any Secretary or Assistant Secretary,has the power and authority

thereof, one or more Resident Vice-Presidents, Assistant Secretaries and Attorneys-in-fact;

1975 to Greeley Gas Company to install eight miles of 6 "
natural gas line in Weld County R . 0 . W. along Roads #64 ,
#41 , and # 74 .
August 6 , 1976 we received a request from the applicant to
release their Bond dated August 20 , 1975 in the amount of
$40 ,000 . 00 . Completion date of this project was December 1 ,
1975 ; however, inspection shows no problems now and cir-
cumstances being as they are , I can recommend this bond be
released at this time .
Attached please find copies of the applicants request for the
release of said bond .
