NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Petition for Annexation has been presented to the
Town Board of the Town of Eaton, Colorado, and, finding the Petition to be in substantial
compliance with the applicable provisions of law, the Town Board has adopted a Resolution to set a
public hearing to be held on January 19, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., at 223 1St Street, Eaton, Colorado, to
determine if the proposed annexation complies with the applicable requirements of law and is
considered eligible for annexation.

RESOLUTION NO. 2016 - 10
SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR
LYNN A. AND LESLIE K. FAGERBERG'S
PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, Lynn A. Fagerberg and Leslie K. Fagerberg submitted a Petition for
Annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Eaton has reviewed the Petition for
Annexation, and, finding substantial compliance as set forth below, believes it to be in the best
interest of the Town to set a public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE TOWN OF EATON, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. The Town Board of the Town of Eaton finds that a Petition for Annexation of
certain property situated in the South Half of Section 6, Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th
P.M., County of Weld, State of Colorado, being more particularly described on Exhibit A, which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, filed with the Town Clerk on November
10, 2016, to be known as the "Fagerberg Annexation," is in substantial compliance with §31-12-
107(1), and that a public hearing should be held to determine if the proposed annexation complies
with §§31-12-104 and 31-12-105, C.R.S., or such parts thereof as may be required to establish
eligibility pursuant to §31-12-101, et seq.;
Section 2. The Town Board hereby sets a public hearing for such purposes for January 19,
2017, at 7:00 p.m., at 223 1st Street, Eaton, Colorado, and directs the Town Clerk to publish and
provide notice as required by law.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be effective on November 21, 2016.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Town Board of the
Town of Eaton on this 17th day of November, 2016.
