WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, is vested with the responsibility of administering
the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board that there is
a need to lease for County use the following:
1 . Ten - cars for the Weld County Sheriff's Department
2. Two - cars for the District Attorney's Office of the
Nineteenth Judicial District
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interests of the
County to seek bids for the Boards' approval relative to the lease of the
aforementioned items for use by the Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's
Office,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that Mr. Barton Buss, Director
of Management and Budget for Weld County, advertise for bids to lease the
aforementioned items for use by the Weld County Sheriff's Office and by the
District Attorney's Office of Nineteenth Judicial District, all in accordance
with bid specifications attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby is
authorized to execute an agreement with the successful bidder for the lease
of the aforementioned items for use by the Weld County Sheriff's Office
and the District Attorney's Office and to make the same effective forthwith.
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Resolution passed
December 24, 1975, pertaining to the purchase of the aforesaid vehicles be
and it hereby is ordered to be rescinded and held for naught.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of May, A. D. , 1976,
nunc pro tunc as of December 24, A.D. , 1975.
