RE: ACKNOWLEDGE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE
(TS CERT 2004-1390) FOR PARCEL #0959-23-3-70-013
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2004-
1390) for parcel #0959-23-3-70-013, from the Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation
of TS CERT 2004-1390, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to acknowledge the cancellation
of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2004-1390) for the property described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2004-1390), on
parcel #0959-23-3-70-013, by the Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is, acknowledged.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of January, A.D., 2016.

As the Weld County Treasurer, State of Colorado, I request authorization by resolution to cancel the Tax Lien Sale
Certificate number 2004-1390 pursuant to CRS " =3 I I F"
According to the Treasurer's Tax Sale Records this property went to tax sale on NOVEMBER 4,2004 due to
unpaid property taxes for the tax year of 2003 .
Reason for this request is as follows: THIS REAL PROPERTY HAS BEEN STRICKEN OFF TO WELD
COUNTY BY VIRTURE OF A TAX SALE AND THERE HAS BEEN NO TRANSFER BY THE COUNTY.
THE TAXES ON SUCH PROPERTY MAY BE DETERMINED TO BE UNCOLLECTIBLE AFTER A PERIOD
OF SIX YEARS FROM THE DATE OF BECOMING DELINQUENT AND THEY MAY BE CANCELLED BY
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS PLACED ON THIS PARCEL BY THE CITY OF EVANS WILL REMAIN
ACTIVE AND UNAFFECTED BY THE CANCELLATION OF THIS TAX LIEN CERTIFICATE. THE
DELINQUENT INTEREST WILL BE CALCULATED ON THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ONLY.
