RE : DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, APPROVE SALE OF
SAME AT AUCTION WITH ROLLER AND ASSOCIATES , AND DELEGATE
AUTHORITY TO CONTROLLER TO SIGN ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado . and
WHEREAS , State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners , and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, as described in
Exhibit "A" . a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference , is no longer
required for County use, and
WHEREAS, after review. the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as
surplus , authorize the sale of same at the scheduled Roller and Associates auction on May 13 .
2016 , and delegate authority to the Weld County Controller to sign any necessary transfer
documents .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County . Colorado, that certain equipment , as described in Exhibit "A, " be , and hereby is . declared
as surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the sale of said equipment at auction at
the next scheduled Roller and Associates auction on May 13 , 2016 . be . and hereby is . approved .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the authority to sign any necessary
transfer documents, be , and hereby is , delegated to the Weld County Controller to sign as the
Agent for the Weld County Board of County Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado.
