RESOLUTION
RE: EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, AND
WELD COUNTY LAND FILL, INC. , A COLORADO CORPORATION.
WHEREAS , heretofore and on July 2 , 1969 , by resolution,
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, did
authorize the execution of a sanitary land fill contract and
agreement with Weld County Land Fill, Inc. , a Colorado corporation,
whereby Weld County Land Fill , Inc. , agreed to provide and operate
certain land fill dumps in Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , subsequent thereto, by resolution, the Board did
authorize the execution of a first amendment and a second
amendment to the aforementioned Weld County Land Fill, Inc . ,
contract in accordance with all of the terms and conditions as
contained in said first amendment and second amendment thereto
and which amendments were made a part thereof by reference, and
WHEREAS, Weld County Land Fill, Inc . , a Colorado corporation,
has submitted a request for an extension of its contract in order
for it to obtain necessary financing for its operation, and
WHEREAS , after an investigation of the facts and circumstances
of the request made by Weld County Land Fill, Inc . , a Colorado
corporation, and for good cause shown, the Board has determined
that it would be in the best interests of the County to extend
the existing contract with Weld County Land Fill, Inc. , a
Colorado corporation, including all amendments thereto, from the
present expiration date of July 1, 1980 to expire on October 1 ,
1981.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that said agreement with
Weld County Land Fill , Inc. , together with all amendments
thereto, be extended from the present expiration date of July 1,
1980 to a new expiration date of October 1 , 1981 .

Gentlemen:
The United Bank of Greeley has committed to lend $200,000.00
to Ralph H. Rohweder dba Weld County Solid Waste Disposal, Inc.
The proceeds of this loan are to be utilized to purchase the
assets of Weld County Land Fill, Inc. Mr. Rohweder plans on
operating this land fill and hopefully making sufficient income
to repay this loan over the next five years. Quite naturally,
one condition of this loan will be that Mr. Rohweder has a
written agreement from the county that he will have the exclusive
right to operate these six land fill sites for at least the
next five years since that will be the term of his loan.
