RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST TO PURSUE AN INJUNCTION
AGAINST SHERWOOD DONALD LANGLEY AND ELIZABETH GARBER DBA WASTE
CHASERS, LLC FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE -ZCV16-00016
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a violation (ZCV16-00016), specifically
Commercial Storage and uses with the A (Agricultural Zone) that is not permitted for Sherwood
Donald Langley and Elizabeth Garber, dba Waste Chasers, LLC, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 14th day of March, 2016, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter for ten (10) days to allow Sherwood
Donald Langley and Elizabeth Garber, dba Waste Chasers, LLC, adequate time to remove the
containers out of the floodplain and enter into a Consent Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to April 4, 2016,
at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of March, A.D., 2016.
