RE: ACCEPTANCE OF STREETS FROM WESTVIEW ESTATES INTO THE COUNTY
ROAD SYSTEM FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Westview Estates is located in the Southwest
Quarter of Section 6, Township 1 North, Range 68 West of the
6th P.M. , being more particulary described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of said SWa of Section 6, and considering
the North line of said 5104 of Section 6 to bear South 88°44'39" Fast
with all bearings contained herein relative thereto:
Thence S 88°44' 39" E along said N line of the SWQ of Section 6,
1,832.86 feet to the Wly right-of-way line of the C. B. & Q Railroad;
thence S 22°55'13" W along said W right-of-way line of the C. B. & Q.
Railroad, 2,500.47 feet; thence S 89°43' 33" W, 136.42 feet; thence
N 00°05'33" E, 300.0 feet; thence S 89°43'33" W, 726.00 feet to the
W line of said SW; of Section 6; thence N 00°05'33" E along said W
line of the SWa of Section 6, 2,047.35 feet to the point of begin-
ning. All in Weld County, Colorado.
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of August, 1967, a Resolution was
passed by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, accepting the dedication of perpetual rights-of-way
over the public roads, streets, highways, easements in the
Westview Estates, and
WHEREAS, it is further stated in the Resolution of August
28, 1967, that Weld County will undertake maintenance of the roads
and streets in Westview Estates after said roads and streets
have been constructed by the developer, and
WHEREAS, a representative of the Weld County Department
of Engineering Services has recommended to the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that all streets in
Westview Estates be accepted for maintenance and added to the
Weld County Road system as graveled streets , except that portion
of Buffalo Road lying North of Westview Road, said exception being
more particularly shown on the attached map which is incorporated
herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the roads and streets
in Westview Estates be, and hereby are, accepted into the County
Road System for maintenance as graveled streets , except for that

portion of Buffalo Road lying North of Westview Road, as more
fully set forth on the attached map.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
January, A.D. , 1978 .

County Road 1 z mile south of S. H. 52)
Streets in Westview Estates were dedicated June 28 , 1967
and of this date have not been accepted for maintenance .
I made an on site inspection of said streets January 13 ,
1978 and found same to be be graveled streets and in
good condition. From all outward appearances all streets
in this subdivision except that portion of Buffalo Road
lying north of Westview Road, which portion has not been
built , are ready for acceptance of maintenance.
Therefore , I recommend all streets in Westview Estates
except that portion of Buffalo Road lying north of Westview
Road be accepted for maintenance and added to the County
Road system.
That portion of Buffalo Road for acceptance would equal
. 38+ miles. Brome Court equals . 07 ±miles and Westview
Road equals . 32± miles for a total of . 77 miles. All
streets are 60 ' in width with a Cul-de-sac at the end of
