RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF SCOTT PETERSEN TO WELD COUNTY BUILDING
CODE BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Scott Petersen be appointed to said board as
the Plumbing/Mechanical representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Scott Petersen to said board, with a
term to expire December 31, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Scott Petersen be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld County Building
Code Board of Appeals, with a term to expire December 31, 2016.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of June, A.D., 2016.
