Dear Don:
Attached you will find an updated response to your memo of July 29, 1978, which
contains 57 so-called building discrepancies. This response is a written confirma-
tion of the status of the items as reviewed in our July 31, 1978, meeting with the
Weld County Board of Commissioners. Concerning several of the items, we have the
following comments to make:
1. I have contacted Electro-Media and they have informed me that the push-button
switches are in, but they are still waiting for the relay switches.

2. As stated in the meeting, there appears to be nothing wrong with the alarm sys-
tem other than operational problems with regard to people smoking in areas
where they are not supposed to. We have, however , contacted Montgomery Eleva-
tor and have requested additional information on the fire alarms in the eleva-
tor to aid your staff and the Buildings and grounds department in proper reset-
ting procedures.
6. Concerning the lack of hot_water on the upper floors, we have written a CR to
NHPQ on May 2, 1978, and as of this date have received no response. We suggest
that the hard of commissioners contact C. E. McGuire directly, The Folger
Adam items will be taken care of by whatever means necessary, as soon as we
receive a response from Folger Adam concerning these warranty problems. We
would anticipate this response by the end of the week.

11. Concerning the screens in the fresh air areas, Hensel Phelps will reweld the
screens in'the necessary areas as soon as we have someone available.
20. Which pertains to the J7 com box, we have advised Electro-Media of this prob-
lem, and they have ordered a replacement speaker for that unit.
22. Pertaining to the floor tile at the juvenile shower area, this floor tile will
be replaced on Friday, August 4, 1978.
26. Concerning the ceiling and floor cracks at D-9, these cracks are merely shrink-
age cracks and are of a hairline nature and it should not present a problem
nor should they be of any concern to you.

Next item, concerning the hot and cold water faucets sticking in various cells,
we would like to point out that Economy Mechanical has replaced the valves in
all the units which still appear on this list. We suggest that you recheck
these items and see whether the problem still exists. If it does, please advise
us and we will again contact Economy Mechanical Industries and have them take
care of it.
31. Pertaining to the tile at the shower area in D-pod, this floor tile will be
replaced August 4, 1978.
If we can be of any further assistance to you concerning any legitimate warranty
items, please let us know.
