RE: CREATION OF A TRUST FUND FOR THE FRONT RANGE COMMUNICATION
CONSORTIUM (FRCC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a request to create the Front Range
Communication Consortium (FRCC) Trust Fund to account for monies contributed towards the
repair, maintenance and replacement of the FRCC controller and communications equipment,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has informed the Board of Weld
County Commissioners that funds will be available to be transferred to the FRCC Trust with the
agreements with the City of Federal Heights and ADCOM, and the Front Range Communication
Consortium (FRCC) Trust Fund should be created to account for said funds, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners wishes to create the Front
Range Communication Consortium (FRCC) Trust Fund as recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED pursuant to the authority granted to the Board
of Weld County Commissioners, there shall be created and established the Front Range
Communication Consortium (FRCC) Trust Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Treasurer shall
establish the Front Range Communication Consortium (FRCC) Trust Fund (Fund 7023) on his
books.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of October A.D., 2016.
