RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS OF VARIOUS REPRESENTATIVES TO THE
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Peter Freeman be appointed to said board as
the Large Business representative, to replace Andy Meyer, expiring December 31, 2016, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to appoint Greg Farris to said board as a Small
Business representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Peter Freeman and Greg Farris be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Workforce Development Board, with terms to expire December 31, 2016, and December 31,
2019, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of April, A.D., 2016.
